Villa Akira is the signature property on Akira Reserve. It represents the vision and standard of quality for the homes and condominiums to be developed within the reserve. Villa Akira is designed as a celebration and integration of beauty, comfort, and the vital elements of nature. Villa Akira was designed by Balinese architect Ketut Arthana. Arthana is internationally recognized for his insightful work in designing luxury residences, tropical resorts, and spas throughout Asia, Hawaii, North America, and Europe, including the elegant Puri Woolandari hotel in Bali, one of the Small Leading Hotels of the World. His characteristic dramatic use of space and sense of location and purpose, as seen in Villa Akira, evoke the unmistakable feeling of being a part of nature, inside and outside the villa. The breezy bougainvillea- and hibiscus-covered guest pavilion retreat snuggles unobtrusively into an ancient rainforest, leading down to a crescent-shaped white-sand beach. Aesthetic influences are at times Balinese and Costa Rican, at times hinting of Japan and even Aztec. Villa Akira welcomes in the jungle and delicate sea breezes, all creating a cool, exotic cocoon that ensnares and envelops guests. Pampering, privacy, and seclusion are paramount in this gorgeous microcosm of Balinese and Costa Rican style and grace. After extensive study of the surrounding land, beach, and jungle, we have selected locations and developed individual designs for future creation that will emphasize the property's natural beauty. The results will be a remarkable combination of understated elegance and simplicity in tropical living. Villa Akira Features Include:
